Alcona County Michigan is home to a remarkable diversity of attractions, fun places and environments.  From the shores of Lake Huron known as the Sunrise Coast, to the pristine nature areas in the interior and the historic agricultural sites and museums that are part of our Michigan communities, Alcona county will delight visitors in every season of the year.

Sturgeon Point may be one of the most famous places on Lake Huron.  The life saving crew here is legendary.  The train depot in Lincoln is equally legendary.  There are destinations that you won't want to miss.  The Quilt Block Trail comes to mind and the State Park and Alcona Dam and Hubbard Lake and Negwegon and a dozen others.
